What This Machine Actually Does — and Why It Matters for Cosmetic Packaging
This is a one-step injection stretch blow molding machine (ISBM) purpose-built for the daily chemical and cosmetic packaging sector. Instead of buying a preform machine, a reheating unit, and a blow molding machine separately, this system handles everything — injection, conditioning, stretching, and blowing — inside a single, fully automated cycle.
The result is a finished bottle that comes out of the mold ready for filling, with wall thickness variance typically under ±0.05 mm and neck dimensions consistent enough for standard pump and spray fitments. That level of precision is genuinely hard to achieve in a two-stage setup, because temperature fluctuations during preform reheating introduce variability that compounds by the time the bottle is blown.
The series covers two main sub-families: the HGA.AS / HGA.ES electric-servo and hydraulic-servo models (2-cavity, suited for smaller-volume complex shapes from 500 ml to 15,000 ml) and the HGA.FS large-format single-cavity models (1–2 cavity, for 1,500 ml to 5,000 ml premium cosmetic containers). Container types include lotion pumps, shampoo bottles, body wash bottles, facial cream jars, perfume flacons, and industrial-grade cleaning product containers.

Compatible Materials for Cosmetic & Daily Chemical Bottle Production
The series runs cleanly on five material types. Which one you choose largely depends on your bottle’s end-use requirements — clarity, chemical resistance, regulatory compliance, and whether the container needs to handle elevated temperatures.
PET
Crystal clarity, excellent gas barrier, lightweight. The go-to for lotion pumps, toner bottles, and serum packaging where glass-like appearance matters at a fraction of the weight and cost.
PP
Heat-resistant up to 120 °C, chemically stable against most surfactants and alcohols. Good choice for hot-filled products and refillable containers in the personal care segment.
PC
High-impact strength with optical clarity. Suited for dispensing systems and premium packaging that will undergo repeated drop and stress testing in retail environments.
PETG
Easier processing than standard PET, sharper detail retention in complex mold geometries. Popular for shaped perfume bottles and cosmetic containers with faceted or embossed surfaces.
Tritan (BPA-Free)
FDA-compliant, dishwasher-safe, and completely BPA-free. Growing demand in premium skincare and baby personal care lines where material safety claims are a marketing priority.
Key Engineering Features of the ISBM Cosmetic Bottle Blow Molding Machine Series
What you’re actually paying for — in concrete terms, not marketing language.
01
Four Processes, One Machine Cycle
Injection, conditioning, stretching, and blowing happen sequentially within the same thermal envelope. This removes the preform reheating step that two-stage extrusion blow molding systems require, cutting energy consumption by up to 40% and eliminating the crystallinity losses that come from re-heating already-cooled material.
02
Servo-Driven Hydraulic Control
The HGA.ES models use servo-hydraulic drive systems that match hydraulic output to actual cycle demand rather than running at constant pressure. In measured trials this reduces hydraulic energy consumption by 30–50% compared with fixed-displacement pump setups, and it also cuts oil temperature rise, which extends seal life and reduces maintenance downtime.
03
Precise Neck Dimension Accuracy for Pump Compatibility
Because the neck is formed by injection molding (not blow molding), thread pitch and finish diameter are controlled to injection-grade tolerances. This is critical for cosmetic bottles that use lotion pumps or disc-top closures — mismatched neck threads are among the most common rejection reasons at filling lines, and ISBM essentially removes that variable.
04
No External Contamination Between Preform and Bottle
In two-stage SBM, preforms are stored, transported, and fed into a second machine — each step is an opportunity for surface contamination. In ISBM, the preform goes directly from injection into the blow mold without leaving the machine. For pharmaceutical-adjacent cosmetics and baby care products, this single-stage closed process is a meaningful quality argument.
05
Wide Bottle Shape Flexibility
The machine can run cylindrical, square, oval, flat, wide-mouth, narrow-mouth, and asymmetric/special-shaped bottles. The HGA.FS large-format series handles containers up to 5,000 ml and 220 mm neck diameter, which covers everything from standard shampoo bottles to 4L refill packs for professional salon and industrial cleaning applications.
06
Compact Footprint for Cosmetic Filling Plants
The smallest model (HGA.ES-2C100) fits in a 2,900 × 1,525 mm floor area — about the footprint of a standard pallet bay. Compared with a two-stage line requiring a separate preform machine and SBM unit, you save 35–50% on floor space. For OEM cosmetic manufacturers who rent factory space by the square meter, this adds up quickly.

How to Pick the Right Model for Your Cosmetic Bottle Production Line
Model selection for a plastic cosmetic bottle blow molding machine comes down to four questions. Work through these before you request a quotation:
1. What is your target bottle volume?
Under 500 ml → HGA.AS-2C114.3 or HGA.AS-4C76.2 (high output per shift). 500 ml–2,500 ml → HGA.ES-2C / ES-4C series. Over 2,500 ml → HGA.ES-2C200 / 2C260, or HGA.FS series.
2. How many bottles per hour do you need?
High-volume runs (4,000–7,200 bph) → 4- or 6-cavity ES models. Medium runs (1,800–3,000 bph) → 2-cavity ES models. Specialty low-volume premium packaging → HGA.FS single-cavity series.
3. What neck size does your closure require?
Standard pump necks (28–38 mm) → most ES-series models. Wide-mouth jars and refill openings (98–168 mm) → HGA.FS-1CG196 / 1CG220 / 2CG220. Confirm thread type (PCO, BPF, 410, custom) with our application engineer.
4. What is your available floor space?
Compact factory or shared production bay → HGA.ES-2C100 (2,900×1,525 mm). Mid-size facility → 4-cavity ES models. Dedicated production line → 6-cavity or FS large-format machines.
